THE PURPLE TRAY!

The kids thought the purple tray was a lot of fun.  We talked about purple and sang the Barney song “If you hug red and blue it makes purple, if you hug red and blue it makes purple, if you hug these two you’ll see…a new colour magically, if you hug red and blue it makes purple”!  The song must have had an impact because several days later, Dancing Queen came over to me and said “if you hug hot and cold, it makes warm”!

Our biggest hit in muffin trays for the week was the Undersea Tray that I made for the Undersea Party we had just for fun.  It will be hard to top that one!

Purple can be hard to find! You did well!

  3. Great tin! When Michelle at Muffin Tin Mom did the color theme I struggled with purple! I’ve never heard of a saskatoon berry either, so I had to check into them.

    • Thanks Kelly! We have a few saskatoons growing in our yard, but I took the kids saskatoon picking at a nearby farm on Friday. We go every year. They love it!

  4. My daughter would love this – she’s obsessed with purple!
